Look up, way up! Discover three incredible leaping species of lemur at the Calgary Zoo - red-fronted, ring-tailed and black-and-white ruffed. A glimpse of these incredible primates is enough to understand why conserving them is so important.
All wild lemurs can only be found in Madagascar, which has lost over 80% of its original forest- bad news for this tree dwelling species. We work to conserve these lemurs in Madagascar and here at home.
